Montpellier brings together both populations with high levels of education and revenue, and populations suffering from malnutrition. The region also includes hot spot of biodiversity and faces increasing climate risks.

What is our goal ?

• To enable everyone (inc. vulnerable populations) to have access to quality and healthy food, of their choice.
• Disseminate knowledge, promote innovation and mobilize citizens for sustainable/healthy food systems.
• Structuring sustainable and resilient supply-chains connecting Occitanie Agriculture and Metropolis eaters.

The Montpellier Food Hub

INRAE Occitanie-Montpellier is the lead organisation for the Montpellier Food Hub. Our team comprises two research units: the UMR Innovation and MOISA.
